Iman Haurami

Iman Haurami is a Nashville native of Kurdish descent. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology at Belmont University and graduated from their Honors Scholar Program. Iman currently attends UTHSC College of Pharmacy as a second-year pharmacy student and works as an intern at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and Kroger Pharmacy. She has always been active in her community and at the Salahadeen Center of Nashville (SCN), even when she attended their youth program.
Iman is the daughter of Br. Baram Haurami and Sr. Roz Shareef, who have also been dedicated community members at SCN, continue to work to serve the community. Iman is certified in and teaches the Nuraniyah Method and Easy Tajweed. She is one of the founding members of TIA and the organization’s secretary. She currently serves as the Director of Media, Director of Student Affairs, and Co-Director of Administration and Finances. She hopes to use her knowledge in Quranic sciences and previous experiences with youth to serve her community and teach others.
